PIHLARJEVA DOMAČIJA STARI HRAST, LJUTOMER

At the foot of the Jeruzalemske gorice hills, in Radomer, a stone's throw away from the Ljutomer – Ormož main road, in the place of the 200-year-old Pihlar country house, stands a new Pihlar country house called STARI HRAST (OLD OAK), built in the rural style. The courtyard is adorned by a 300-year-old oak, and in front of the building there is a 100-year-old press that has until recently still served its purpose.

The country house has three double rooms, three triple rooms, a sauna, a dining room for 60 people, a bar with 40 seats, a terrace and a wine cellar – wine shop with a sales boutique.

At Stari hrast we welcome You with a wonderful family offer. You will be pampered with exquisite, home-made dishes, genuine Prlekian delicacies from grandmother's kitchen, with a touch of modern food trends. We also pride ourselves on our numerous decorations and awards in the culinary and wine field. We will be delighted to serve You our wines or invite You to taste them in our domestic wine cellar.

Recreation

Our farm is an excellent starting point for various outings and excursions, as well as visits to different thermal spas.

Bicyclists can enjoy prime conditions and choose between Pannonian flat terrain tours and hilly tours in the vicinity of Jeruzalem.

A new contribution to our tourist farm is a beach volleyball court, built according to all international rules, which has already attracted professional teams to train for the seasons to come. Top athletes, especially, have very good opportunities here for condition training and relaxation after a strenuous season.

The descent down the Mura river is a special experience and we can organise it for You by prior reservation.

Our country house has always had a hunting lodge and we would therefore be happy to arrange deer or pheasant hunting for You or a walk with a hunter at the foot of Jeruzalem.

Wine cellar

We are especially proud of our new acquisition, the wine cellar – wine shop with a sales boutique.

By prior arrangement we can organise a tasting for a group of 50 people maximum. The sales boutique offers all of our home-made products for sale: superior wine, liqueurs, bitters, jams, honey, pumpkin seed oil.
